5 Birthday Party Games for Kids Under 10

All parents wish that their children have the most awesome birthday parties. Today in most cases this equals hiring a professional clown or party planner without paying much effort. While hiring experts is a great idea, still you need to think of all details connected to your kids birthday party. You need to ensure that food and beverages are healthy and at the same time tasty. But the most important part of any party is entertainment. Below we offer you five best games for children under 10 to help you throw the best party for your kid!

1. Animal Antics

This is a great game to make kids get together and learn who is who. All you need is whisper each kids an animal and ensure that you give the same animal to two children. On count of three children have to start acting like the animals they are and find the matching pair another kid with the same animal. Thats basically it. But, of course, you can come up with some small prizes for the first pair to match, for the funniest parody, for the best parody, etc. For small parties you can blindfold everyone and make kids create sounds of animals they are to find their pairs.

2. Face painting

Face painting can go in two directions. One is that you hire a face painting professional and just let your kids choose the animals they want to be. On the other hand, you can go even further and let kids paint their faces personally! Yet, even in the latter case its highly advised to have a superior person taking care of the technical and safety part of the process.

3. Memory Game

This is simple and funny game. All you need is a tray with common objects (ensure that all children know each of them). You put the objects on the tray and ask kids to remember these objects: not only what they are, but also their position on the tray and maybe even specific characteristics. Then you either ask them to close eyes or take the tray away from the room to change something. You can take one object away, change it with the similar one, or just move the objects around. Then children simply need to name the differences. You can make this game in teams to increase their involvement.

4. Hunting for Prizes

Fishing for prizes is one of the most favorite games of children of all ages! The whole idea of the game is to get the prize. You can either put everything into plastic bags and put them in the pool or basin, you can just throw everything on the rug or make a map with the market places. Whatever you can come up with will work for prizes hunting. The only thing for you to make sure of is the number of prizes and their quality. Try to make the prizes of similar categories so that they would work for both boys and girls regardless of their age.

5. The chocolate game

This is a true old-school style that never gets out of fashion according to professional event planners! You will need several chocolate bars, dies, a knife (make sure its not sharp), a fork, a hat, an apron, and a hat. The kids start throwing dice to get a double. If they dont succeed, they pass the dice around. If they do succeed, they need to take all the props and can eat the chocolate but only with a knife and a fork. Children eat only a piece of chocolate and come back to the circle.
